Mr. Bartender

Mr. Bartender

A double this time Mr. Bartender, a double.
Give every one in here a drink.
It is Friday, Mr. Bartender, it is Friday and I have money.
I have plenty of money Mr. Bartender, I just got paid.
Now where is that double Mr, Bartender, where is that double.
I need the drink.
Don’t mind the slur in my talking, I am not drunk,
I am just tipsy….Haaa! I want to go home,
I want to go home.

How can i tell her

How can I tell her

Another drink Mr. Bartender, I’ll have to face the wife.
But how am I going to tell her that all my money is gone.
How can I tell her that I spent it all amongst my friends.
How can I tell her, there is no money left.

The children need shoes and the wife need cloths and there
Is no food in the house. How can I tell her. I know not how.

If she is there tomorrow, then I’ll know she loves me and
Then I’ll change my ways; but for now Mr. Bartender,
Just get me another drink.

One for the Road

One for the Road

Another one Mr. Bartender,
Another one for me.
One ice cube and a tat of water,
This ones’ for the road.
The lady should be a sleep by now,
Would not want to wake her.
Will be quiet opening the door,
And will tiptoe across the hall.
I will throw myself on the sofa,
I dear not go near the bed.
Another one Mr Bartender,
Just another one for me.
